OPERATIONS:
WHIPPLE
Removal of the Pancreatic head
Surgery to remove a mass within the head of the pancreas. The operation includes the removal of the the duodenum and the distal portion of the common bile duct, and the surrounding peripancreatic tissue and lymph nodes.
LIVER SURGERY
Removal of a Portion of Liver
Surgery to removal a portion of the liver. Â Liver surgery may be performed either as a open surgery with an incision under the right rib cage or as a laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery.
GALLBLADDER SURGERY
Removal of the Gallbladder for stone disease or mass
Surgery to remove GB for stones or radical cholecystectomy- open and lap
Distal Pancreatectomy and Splenectomy
Removal of the Pancreatic body and trail, often including the spleen
Surgery to remove a mass within the body and tail of the pancreas. The operation often includes the removal of the spleen, as well as the surrounding peripancreatic tissue and lymph nodes.
